Welcome 2nd Marking Period!  We are currently reading a novel in Reading: Freak the Mighty (8th Graders) and Walk Two Moons (7th Graders). Each class is using various tools to conduct literature discussions.  In Writing, we are studying and beginning to compose a Descriptive Essay.  Our Grammar study is focused on Verbs.  It's never a dull moment!
